Not able to connect to the converted forum

After using the transformer script, from a fluxbb forum, I face an issue : I cannot connect to the new forum

• my old password is not working anymore - maybe normal, it was only one word

• the forgotten password link send me an email with a reset link like:

and when I open that link I got an error " Bad request. Request contain invalid data"

If the password hash in your fluxbb was stored as the result of the sha1() function (this is the standard for fluxbb), then you need to use password recovery to regenerate the hash in the database (for each user).

did this on line 420 in /app/Models/Pages/auth.php , ( no app/Models/Pages/Admin/Auth.php )

I now have "bad hash"

I checked the reset passphrase function on the local forum rev 88. It works.
Please make another request and show here the link to change the password and the data from the ::users table, the activate_string field for this user.

First line is full of "NUL" , 460 207 to be precise, but it doesn't seem to appear here, ( github doesn't even want to send it ),

then sendmail error to authenticate with google, but I intercept the mail before sending. I don't think it interfere with the site

edit: Just watched php_errors.log , isSent is False...

That would mean that you check if the mail was really sent... which is not the case on my local conf.

I configured a smtp on my local machine, isSent became true, an activate_string was defined and I could define a new password.

This one was on me.

There is a Logs item in the forum admin panel.
Sending letters there is displayed.

Yes, I saw that even before, but didn't thought it could prevent the process to happen: I was able to intercept the mail and thought it was enough.
Maybe a warning could take place in the requirement, that a working smtp is mandatory to gain back access to the forum after the migration.
