Why
Dependabot PRs are auto-merged with
GITHUB_TOKEN, and pushes made with that token do not start other workflows. The release workflow has not run since 2026-06-18 even though commits kept landing onmain.Changes
release.yml: add a weekly schedule (Tuesday 17:00 UTC) andworkflow_dispatch, matching react-auth and react-native-toolbox.gulp-sharp: declareyoctocolorsin the package instead of the root catalog. It is bundled intodist, so its bumps should be attributed togulp-sharpby release-please.Note: Dependabot here still uses
chore(deps)for every bump, so ayoctocolorsbump will not cut a release until the Dependabot commit-message convention is aligned (separate change).
