Single selected .exe launches the file instead of the configured command (Win 10 19045)Windows 10 version 19045.6466. #7

Description

@kiwiman2023

Using ExecuteCommand400C.exe with:ah # powershell.exe -NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File "C:\Create_Folder_And_Move\Create_Folder_using_filename2.ps1" #fVerb is under HKCU\Software\Classes*\shell\Create Folder and Move (using Filename) NEW2\command with
DelegateExecute = {FFA07888-75BD-471A-B325-59274E73400C}.

What Works

Dummy file fakeexe.exe (renamed text file)
Real .exe selected together with another file (e.g. test.txt) — script runs and creates the folder from the other filename

What Fails

Right-click only a real PE such as AutoMouseCursorHider.exe
Windows shows “The publisher could not be verified” and the exe starts
Create_Folder_using_filename2.ps1 does not run

Calling powershell.exe -File ... "%1" directly is not a usable workaround here (single-instance / multi-select reasons).

The helper is required.
Is a lone exefile expected to hit IExecuteCommand from a *\shell verb, or must the verb also be registered under exefile / SystemFileAssociations without duplicating the menu item?

or some other bug happening? cheers Paul
