Two changes to the existing file:

  1. Adds the commit that fixes this vulnerability to the references: wger-project/wger@4150071 (trainer_login now requires POST, so it goes through CSRF protection; the commit adds a regression test).
  2. Replaces last_affected: 2.1 with fixed: 2.6.

Evidence for the range: the commit is contained in the tag 2.6 and in no earlier tag (git tag --contains: 2.6, 2.7). In the tags 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4 and 2.5 the trainer_login view in wger/core/views/user.py is decorated only with @login_required() (no @require_POST), so the vulnerable code is the same in 2.1 and in 2.5; in 2.6 it has @require_POST. The advisory already links the 2.6 release.

GitHub's web editor adds a final newline when it saves; there is no other difference.

…commit

Replaces last_affected 2.1 with fixed 2.6 and adds wger-project/wger@4150071 to the references.

Superseded by #10626, which makes the same change through the "Suggest improvements" form (this PR was opened as a draft because of the author open-PR limit).
