The free desktop companion for Witbound, the iOS/iPadOS app that pairs a DRM-free ebook with its audiobook and highlights each word as the narrator reads.
Syncing a book the first time is the slow part, and on a phone it can take a while. This app does that work on your Mac in a fraction of the time, then sends the finished, fully-synced book straight to your phone over your local network. Open the app on your phone and the book is already there, ready to read along.
- Drop in an ebook (epub or PDF) and its audiobook (m4b or mp3).
- Your Mac transcribes and aligns them locally. Nothing about your books is uploaded.
- The finished book is sent to your phone on the same Wi-Fi, already synced.
Works with DRM-free files: libro.fm, Downpour, LibriVox, Standard Ebooks, Project Gutenberg, your own rips. Audible and Kindle files are DRM-locked and will not open.
