Builds (--release --locked) and runs cargo test --locked in ubuntu:22.04, ubuntu:24.04, debian:12 and fedora:43 containers on a GitHub runner, with --cap-add SYS_PTRACE --security-opt seccomp=unconfined. WRAITH_REQUIRE_PTRACE is deliberately not set, so if ptrace is blocked the integration tests skip with 'skipping: could not start tracer'; a final step counts and warns about skips so they are visible. wraith doctor is run informationally.

Changes in this revision:

  • fedora:latest -> fedora:43 (verified on Docker Hub; latest is currently 44; 41 exists but is EOL).
  • Steps run under bash with set -euo pipefail, so cargo test ... | tee test.log can no longer mask a failure.
  • Rust installed via a pinned rustup-init 1.29.1 downloaded from static.rust-lang.org and verified against a hard-coded SHA-256 (instead of curl | sh); toolchains: stable (build/test) plus 1.74.0 (MSRV cargo check --locked, matching ci.yml).

Not tested locally (no docker on my box); YAML parses and the rustup-init checksum was verified. CI on this PR is the real test. The kernel is the runner's, not the distro's. Does not run scripts/verify.sh in containers.
