Outcome

Large dependency PRs can return paginated dependency-graph compare results; previously only page 1 was persisted. This update captures the full compare dataset and keeps existing guards that reject incomplete evidence (snapshot warnings or graph drift).

Scope

• Included:
  • Pagination handling: scripts/ci/record_dependency_review.py now follows Link: rel="next" and accumulates all pages before writing evidence.
  • Evidence integrity: keeps snapshot-warning hard-fail behavior and runs existing diff/manifest validation on the merged dataset.
  • Artifact semantics: writes a single merged dependency-diff.json for multi-page responses and computes hash/count from the complete payload.
  • Regression coverage: adds a unit test proving multi-page fetch + persistence behavior.
• Explicitly excluded:
  • Workflow trigger/permissions changes.
  • Dependency policy changes (license/severity allowlists, advisory handling).
  • Any relaxations to snapshot-warning or graph-drift checks.

The actual interpreter was /tmp/watch-nov1-venv/bin/python, cwd /tmp/watch-nov1. Source blob hashes verified with git hash-object: recorder 71b576edbc390da2f40e9434628aa75f794857e4; tests 4ba8189eeaf1d8d00c432bd510cf86bc46de20b5, matching GitHub's PR file metadata. This includes the two-page persistence regression, warning rejection, graph drift, and actual temporary Git-diff detector tests. API responses in these tests are fixtures, not hosted API verification.

Preserved failed setup evidence: first selected run was 2 failed/4 passed because the scratch copy omitted the workflow file. After retrieving it and actions.lock, all 24 passed. Initial file transfer added a final newline; byte-exact files were restored, blob hashes verified, and all 24 passed again.

Diff review: only recorder and its test module change; no workflow/permission change. Current CI run remains action_required. Hosted CI, full application suite, and Python 3.11 were NOT RUN here. The connected GitHub tools expose no approve-workflow-run operation; gh is not installed. No workflow approval, dispatch, merge, deployment or paid provider call was performed.
