docs: the hosted service is paused, not closed - #22
Conversation
The status lines said the hosted Vectorless service was closing and the project no longer developed. It is paused: the data is backed up and the infrastructure kept as code so it can return, and the code stays open source. Badges and wording now say so.
Reviewer's guide (collapsed on small PRs)Reviewer's GuideDocumentation-only README updates correct the hosted Vectorless service status from closing/unmaintained to paused, while clarifying continued open-source availability and potentially delayed issue and pull-request responses. **Maintenance warning is removed**
When readers use the README to assess project activity, the new status describes llmgate as open source and says issues and pull requests are read, but no longer says that development has stopped; readers assessing whether to depend on or contribute to the project lose that important caveat.
Keep the hosted-service pause update separate from an accurate statement about llmgate's development and maintenance status.

## Status
-llmgate was built for [Vectorless](https://github.com/hallelx2/vectorless-engine). Vectorless's hosted service is closing (decided 2026-10-11). llmgate stays open source under Apache 2.0 but is no longer actively developed. Issues and pull requests may not get a reply. For anything else, write to halleluyaholudele@gmail.com.

The interface is the stable surface; implementations evolve underneath. The latest tag is `v0.5.0`.

**Recovery details are omitted**
When readers rely on the README to understand whether the hosted service can return, the status section says the hosted service is paused but omits the stated data backup and infrastructure-as-code, so readers cannot tell what makes a return possible or whether the data is preserved.
Add the backup and infrastructure-as-code details to the status section.

Review on the status rewrite: name the backup and infrastructure-as-code that make a return possible, and keep an honest note on pace.
The README said the hosted Vectorless service was closing and the project was no longer developed. It is paused instead: the data is backed up and the infrastructure is kept as code, so it can come back, and the code stays open source. The status wording and badge now say that, and replies to issues are described as possibly slow rather than not coming at all.
