The installation documentation only mentions recompilation for Linux specifically.

For Windows, this is not mentioned anywhere.
This addition is meant to prevent future time wasting incidents like this #1040
Perhaps it would make sense to drop a list of supported external clidrivers too.
(So drivers that do ship with /lib and /include and therefore
ibm_dbcan be compiled for)
