This project lets you build a laser turret controlled by a C# Forms app.
Features:
- Aim in 3D (X, Y, Z) with two servo motors
- User-friendly C# Forms interface for control
- Optional laser activation (low-power, Class 1 or 1M only)
Hardware:
- Arduino Uno (or compatible)
- 2 Servo motors (e.g., SG90)
- Low-power laser diode (Class 1 or 1M)
- Resistor (value depends on laser)
- Jumper wires
- Breadboard (optional)
- Base for mounting servos and laser
Software:
- Arduino IDE (https://www.arduino.cc/)
- Visual Studio (Community edition) or similar C# IDE (https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/)
Assembly:
- Connect servos to Arduino following their specifications (signal pin to Arduino pin, power to 5V, ground to GND).
- Connect laser diode (with resistor) to an Arduino digital pin (positive to pin, negative to GND).
- Mount servos and laser on a base for aiming.
Software Setup:
- Upload Arduino code (in
Arduinofolder) to your board using Arduino IDE. - Open C# Forms app (in
C#_Forms_Appfolder) in your C# IDE, compile, and run.
Safety:
- Use a low-power (Class 1 or 1M) laser diode! Never point lasers at people or animals.
- Ensure your power supply can handle all components (especially servos).
