Hi, I'm Katherine 👋

I'm an aspiring Software Engineer with a focus on data and backend systems. I love turning complex problems into clean, scalable solutions, and I'm always building something new to sharpen my skills.

Right now I'm working on YouPick, a serverless movie discovery platform architected on AWS, my first cloud-native, a full-stack project using Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, and CloudFront. As well as an adventure text-based rpg game in Java!

Whether it's designing backend APIs, automating workflows with AI, or spinning up cloud infrastructure, I enjoy the whole stack, but I'm most energized by backend architecture and data-driven systems.
