Renovate now merges an update itself once the gate passes, and no release follows: Python, the Debian, Alpine and Fedora bases, and the Go tools run with go run, such as govulncheck. These still wait for a human: Go above a patch, GoReleaser, go.mod, and every GitHub Action, since each workflow holds a job no pull request runs. A Go patch still merges itself and is released as before.
