The Open File dialog does not remember any Recently Used files/paths on Windows

I've opened several files, but the Recently Used section of the Open File dialog is still empty.
Thee is no place that helps me open more files from the same directory.

I would use "pin me up", or drag files from your file manager. You can also load multiple files in one operation for batch processing.
