Summary

  • includes the executed analysis notebook, project/system diagram, data dictionary, limitations, final reflection, data pipeline, tests, and production web application
  • publishes a clean static GitHub Pages release from the same fork

Project

NYC TIME FIELD — Where can 30 minutes take you?

The interactive map compares subway, driving, and walking access to a selected NYC destination. It combines scheduled MTA service, OpenStreetMap networks, H3 residential cells, neighborhood aggregation, and cell-level rent estimates. Users can inspect reachable areas, route steps, travel-time composition, and the relationship between commute time and rent.

Course final requirements

  • extends the course Networks exercise through a combined walking + scheduled-subway model
  • applies Loading and Visualizing Data, Geoprocessing, Web Mapping / APIs, and Web Map Visualization
  • includes a clear project goal and methodology
  • includes the required project/system diagram
  • includes a final reflection describing limitations and possible future-semester development
  • documents data sources, dates, assumptions, and reproducibility steps

Verification

  • data and geospatial validation: PASS
  • executed notebook: 10/10 code cells completed, 0 errors
  • model/render tests: 8/8 PASS
  • desktop/mobile browser tests: 10/10 PASS
  • TypeScript, ESLint, accessibility, build, GitHub Pages export, credential/path, and file-size checks: PASS
