Release the optional X3 Zero mod as version 0.0.1, independently of the X2/X3 boss-weapon expansion. Adds original Zero body/saber/teleport/HUD artwork, X1 weapon adaptation, grounded Select exchange with frozen stage simulation, separate current HP with active-only healing, title/pause presentation, and the original X 1-up icon. Corrects the first charge tier to the native small green projectile.
Players select their original X3 USA ROM in Mods; the native extractor validates it and generates private assets automatically. The release ships no source ROMs or extracted caches. The X3 path uses a shared resource key for the later weapon mod. X2/X3 weapons and co-op are excluded from this PR.
Validation:
Known limits and source findings are documented in docs/zero-0.0.1.md and docs/zero-port.md. Original X3 projectile/audio fidelity and broader campaign validation remain follow-up work.
Depends on the published framework shared-ROM support in RetroPortingToolKit/snesrecomp#131. This preserves main's existing framework/UI features and pins the tested dependency commit.
