I run a 32-person global engineering organization and lead at the intersection of software architecture and P&L. My work is translating business goals into high-velocity technical execution, and making sure each call (replatforming, vendor consolidation, compliance) lands as a measurable win on margin and growth.
I came up through marketing and design before going deep on full-stack and systems engineering, which is why I frame architecture decisions in business terms rather than purely technical ones. Over the last decade I've scaled teams and platforms through three acquisitions, carrying the work from Influence Health (formerly Medseek) into Healthgrades, then Red Ventures, and now RVO Health, turning early-stage integrations into durable organizational pillars.
- Protected a $14.5M health-system revenue stream by directing the SOC 2 Type 1 & Type 2 effort and maintaining that posture across annual audit cycles.
- Delivered the Zocdoc partnership in a 164-day technical integration, expanding scheduling to 107k+ providers. (Covered in Newsweek.)
- Stood up a native ChatGPT provider-search app inside a 24-hour window with a dedicated tiger team.
- Drove $300k+ in FinOps savings: AWS cost optimization ($170k), a technology vendor consolidation ($94k), and folding 600+ repos onto a single version-control platform ($45k).
- Took deployment frequency to 22.4 releases/week at a 26.4-hour median lead time by deprecating a coupled .NET monolith and its bi-weekly release train. Elite DORA metrics, DevEx score of 70.
- Eliminated a $1M Transition Services Agreement on schedule by rebuilding a critical ROI analytics program, replacing a 5-person legacy operation with a single strategic hire.
I lead 6 core teams and manage 3 engineering managers, and I've held delivery momentum and operational trust through two major restructuring cycles. My bias is that rigorous compliance and engineering velocity are not a tradeoff: the same investment in tooling, metrics, and clean architecture buys you both, and I hold core-site accessibility at 97% alongside elite delivery performance.
I treat leadership continuity as part of the system design. I've mentored a senior engineer into an engineering manager role to ensure clean succession, and absorbed expanded org oversight after a Senior Director departure without losing delivery cadence. I also operate at the business and legal boundary: I've partnered with the business to navigate state health-privacy law (MHMD), balancing advertising monetization against organizational risk, and led security-critical M&A integration work, identifying severe authorization vulnerabilities in an acquired CRM and partnering with the CSO and CTO to implement OAuth across sensitive healthcare data under HITRUST controls.
I stay close enough to the architecture to make credible calls and earn engineering trust, while operating primarily as a leader.
