This is an experimental LLM code review
Reviewed the diff (config.toml + 10 new Japanese content files) for correctness, broken links/shortcodes, config consistency with other languages, and translation quality. Found no structural/build-breaking issues: the [languages.ja] block matches the key set and alphabetical placement of other languages, all @/...md cross-links resolve to files added in this PR, and the news-article statistics/numbers match the English source exactly. Inline comments below cover the concrete translation issues found (a grammar error and a repeated word-choice mistranslation) plus one untranslated fragment.
A couple of minor, non-blocking notes not worth individual inline comments:
- All 10 new files lack a trailing newline at end of file, unlike other translated pages in this repo (e.g.
content/_index.it.md,content/donate/index.md) which do end with one. - Every other language in this repo has a translated
content/donate/thanks/index.<lang>.md; this PR doesn't addindex.ja.mdfor it, so Japanese donors will see the fallback-language thank-you page after donating.

Grammar error: 国や地域をあまり容量を取らない has two を particles with no subject marker, which doesn't parse ("Countries/regions [obj] don't take up much capacity [obj]" — missing subject). Should be 国や地域は容量をあまり取らない (subject は on the countries/regions, を only on 容量), matching the English "Countries and regions don't take a lot of space".

"institutional sponsors" was left untranslated in the middle of a Japanese sentence. Other languages fully localize this (e.g. Italian: "sponsor istituzionali"). Suggest something like 法人スポンサー or 組織スポンサー (e.g. 私たちの大切な法人スポンサーは、...).

"cyclists" is translated as ライダー, which in Japanese reads as "motorcyclist/motorcycle rider," not bicycle rider. Organic Maps targets cyclists (自転車利用者), not motorcyclists, so this is misleading. Suggest サイクリスト. Same mistranslation also appears in this file's frontmatter description (line 3) and in content/contribute/community-engagement-specialist/_index.ja.md, content/contribute/social-media-specialist/_index.ja.md, and content/contribute/ui-ux-designer/_index.ja.md.

Same ライダー-for-"cyclists" mistranslation as in content/_index.ja.md — ライダー reads as motorcyclist in Japanese, not cyclist. Suggest サイクリスト.

This pull request introduces comprehensive support for Japanese localization across the Organic Maps website. It adds Japanese translations for core UI elements, creates Japanese versions of key pages (including home, contribute, donate, FAQ, and news), and introduces several new Japanese-language job description pages for contributors. The changes are organized into three main themes: localization infrastructure, content localization, and new contributor role pages.
Localization Infrastructure:
config.tomlfile, including UI translations and taxonomy configuration for FAQs and news.Content Localization:
content/_index.ja.md, including app descriptions, features, download instructions, and sponsor information.content/donate/index.ja.md), "Contribute" (content/contribute/index.ja.md), "FAQ" (content/faq/_index.ja.md), and "News" (content/news/_index.ja.md) pages, making essential information accessible to Japanese users.
