The v4.0.0 tag has been published to the npm latest dist-tag, so osls v4 is now the current stable release, but the README still described it as being in beta and about to be released as stable. This updates the introduction to state that v4 is the current stable release and drops the wording that implied the v3 line was the stable one, while keeping the pointer to the 3.x branch and the upgrade guide.
