Speak French the way it sounds.
Parle is a French pronunciation app for iPhone and Android. Listen to a native phrase, record yourself, and see exactly which French sound to fix.
Most learners can read French long before anyone understands them speaking it. French has 37 sounds, and a handful of them (the R, the U of tu, the nasal vowels) give away almost every accent. Our goal is to make those sounds learnable: instant, sound-by-sound feedback on your own voice, in a few minutes a day, without a teacher in the room.
We also publish the French phonetics data behind the app, so teachers, researchers and other learners can use it too.
