Vendored lab scripts (LAB_PREFIX=systems) + observation-first cloud-init; deploy-to-vm.sh with SUDO toggle; check-host.sh preflight; scripts/lib helpers + checks.lua; tri-language examples/_template (C++23 presets incl. clang, Go 1.26.5, Rust 1.97.1/edition 2024) verified live on host and systems-target VM; manifest + new-example.sh; test-all-examples.py runner; validate.py; validate.yml CI; LGTM compose (smoke trace verified in Tempo).
Verified on host: all 3 languages build+run; verify.lua PASS ×3; validate.py clean; VM deploy proves guest execution (kernel 6.19.10 output); both VMs snapshotted lab-ready; OTLP→Tempo round-trip 200 + trace query OK.
