chatterd v0-v4 on one unified wire frame (magic CH + version + type + BE u16 length; JOIN/MSG/DELIVER/WELCOME/PING added by type across versions, never replaced) — TCP room, epoll scaling vs netpoller, two-VM UDP peer discovery, heartbeats/deadlines, async rewrite (coroutines/tokio/goroutines); workq (futex + TSan/-race), spscring (lock-free, false sharing). 16 diagram pairs. Also hardens ch20 liveness check (kill -0 by PID, not pgrep -f). Adversarial validation caught cross-version wire drift; remediated and interop verified live (v0 client <-> v1/v4 server, cross-language). 78/78.

Chapters 21-27 + 7 tri-language examples. chatterd grows v0→v4 on ONE unified wire frame (adversarial validation caught an initial 5-way protocol drift; remediated so a v0 client interoperates with v1/v4 servers across all three languages — verified live). Two-VM UDP peer discovery (ch23) on systems-target+systems-peer. workq (futex, sanitizer race demos), spscring (lock-free, false sharing measured). Also hardens ch20's liveness check. 78/78 matrix PASS.
