QPS615 validation needs to cover base and overlay images using runtime hardware evidence, while Ethernet failures need useful diagnostics without changing test results.

  • Add QPS615 interface and traffic suites with LAVA definitions, runtime DT/PCI/power-control/driver/netdev discovery, and explicit opt-in FIT preparation.
  • Support IPv4-first automatic gateway selection and explicit IPv4, IPv6 or hostname peers, rejecting DUT-local targets without falling back after a failed ping.
  • Reuse QPS615 checks in PCIe and Ethernet inventory, and add load-only TC956x readiness while preserving initially loaded modules.
  • Capture bounded, read-only ethtool diagnostics to retained files and stdout on failures across all Ethernet suites. Redact SecureOn passwords and tolerate unavailable queries without changing verdicts.
  • Document prerequisites, selection, artifacts and result behavior for Yocto, Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS.

Discover QPS615 through runtime DT, PCI topology, power-control binding and Ethernet evidence. Keep FIT preparation explicit and distinguish discovery errors from absent hardware.

Add IPv4-first gateway and dual-stack hostname peer selection, reject DUT-local targets, and support load-only module readiness without unloading initially active modules.

Capture bounded, read-only ethtool failure diagnostics with retained redacted logs. Preserve existing caller interfaces and result handling. Suite integration follows in a dependent commit.

Add interface and traffic suites with LAVA definitions for runtime base and overlay validation. Support explicit FIT preparation and IPv4, IPv6 or hostname peers using shared discovery and validation helpers.

Reuse power-control and topology checks in PCIe and inventory validation, and expose load-only TC956x readiness through the existing module profile.

Enable file and stdout failure diagnostics across all nine Ethernet suites and document selection, prerequisites, artifacts and result behavior.

Depends on the preceding shared-helper commit. Revert this consumer integration before reverting its helper foundation. Host-only regression fixtures remain outside the product repository.
