fix(hooks): repin to resq-cli v0.5.2 so installs get the granular GIT_HOOKS_SKIP - #97
Conversation
…_HOOKS_SKIP The installers pinned resq-software/crates at d84cd961, which predates crates#206. Users installing without resq on PATH therefore still got the blanket guard `[ -n "$GIT_HOOKS_SKIP" ] && exit 0`, so a selective-looking GIT_HOOKS_SKIP=audit disabled every check, the secret scan included. The bats suite fetched crates master instead of the pin, so CI passed for behaviour the installer never shipped. - Repin install-hooks.sh, install-hooks.ps1 and the install-resq.sh cargo fallback to 72e0ae49 (resq-cli-v0.5.2) with the new hook digests. - Test the pinned commit by default. Only the pinned SHA is cached across runs, and each cached file is checked against the installer's digests; moving refs are fetched fresh per run. A weekly bats-upstream job keeps testing master. - Add tests/hooks/git-hooks-skip.bats covering every token, separator, the fail-closed and inert-token cases, and the flags passed to resq. 30 of its 35 cases fail against the old pin. - Document the token list. Correct the installer message that said hooks soft-skip without resq: pre-commit now refuses the commit. Note that prepare-commit-msg does not parse GIT_HOOKS_SKIP at this pin. - VERSION 0.4.6, re-stamped.

install-hooks.{sh,ps1} took path 1 for any resq on PATH, and path 1 writes the templates embedded in the binary. A resq older than 0.4.3 therefore installed hooks with the blanket GIT_HOOKS_SKIP guard. Below the floor, or when the version cannot be read, the installers now use the pinned, digest-verified templates and say why. 0.4.3 through 0.5.2 embed templates byte-identical to the pin. Covered by tests/hooks/install-hooks.bats; 3 of its 5 cases fail without the floor.
Also: tests never fetch into a user-supplied RESQ_HOOK_SRC_DIR, and the prepare-commit-msg docs now state which commit sources it skips. Addresses review on #97.

Under ErrorActionPreference=Stop, a resq that cannot start (wrong architecture, corrupt file) threw from the --version probe and aborted the installer. It is now treated as an unreadable version, so the verified fallback runs. Addresses review on #97.
