# TeachLink Mobile Mission

## Purpose

This document is the shared, versioned statement of why TeachLink Mobile exists and what it is trying to achieve. It complements the [Vision](VISION.md), which describes long-term direction, and guides product, engineering, and governance decisions without prescribing a specific roadmap.

## Mission

TeachLink Mobile's mission is to make it easy for people to share, discover, and discuss useful knowledge from their phones, and for educators and creators to reach an audience and sustain their work through fair, transparent tools, in an experience that is accessible, dependable, and respectful of people's data.

## Problem we solve

Useful technical knowledge is scattered across blogs, chat groups, and video platforms. Learners struggle to find trustworthy content and to engage with the people who create it, and creators lack a simple, mobile-first way to reach an audience, build a community, and be rewarded for their contribution. TeachLink Mobile addresses this by bringing content sharing, live conversation, notifications, and creator monetisation together in one reliable cross-platform app.

## Measurable outcomes

The project tracks progress against the targets below. They are reviewed each release, are intended as direction rather than guarantees, and may be revised by maintainers as the project matures.

## Applying and evolving this mission

Use this mission to frame product proposals and governance decisions, especially when priorities conflict. Review it when TeachLink's audience, purpose, or operating context materially changes, and update it through the project's normal pull request and maintainer review process so that it remains explicit and versioned.
