What
Prepare 1.6.1 so the next SDK package includes the native video upload capability and CLI fixes already merged into main. The published 1.6.0 package predates these changes.
Only the shared version and changelog change. The complete
v1.6.0..8b84edfrange contains #535, #536 and #537. The existing upload example documents the public path; the changelog highlights the final canonical video ID.1.6.1 follows the focused additive patch precedent of 1.5.1 (#529). Project creation and SDK training already shipped in 1.6.0; unmerged segment annotation is excluded.
Validation
cosmos3-edgetraining interfaces verified; 16 existing regressions pass against the installed package.make check_code_qualitypasses Ruff formatting/lint and mypy.Runtime and publication limits
Tests use mocks and a temporary loopback HTTP server. No new authenticated platform E2E, annotation, paid training or inference was run. VID-44's earlier native-upload evidence is at feature head
4933744; VID-45 owns the later full workflow. This draft does not publish or deploy anything. Publishing a future GitHub release would triggerpublish.ymlfor both PyPI packages and documentation; that action is outside this PR preparation.
