Protect the GVL release call so Ruby interrupts propagate after Rust cleanup. Add deterministic drop-counter regressions for kill, raise, successful callbacks, and Rust panics, and run them through rake test.
Report heap capacities through the typed-data size hook and balance external allocation accounting on construction and drop. Add local regressions for ObjectSpace size and GC allocation pressure.
Use the client-level timeout when connect_timeout is omitted or nil, while preserving explicit connection deadlines. Add localhost TLS regression tests for fallback and timeout precedence.
