Download model dialog button navigates to main screen instead of downloading model

The “Download model” dialog is shown on app start, but when I click Download model, it does not start the download. Instead, it takes me to the main screen.

This happens every time the app is started.

Steps to reproduce

1. Start the app.
2. See “Download model” dialog.
3. Click Download model.

Environment

• Device: Galaxy A52s 5G
• Android version: lineage is 23.2
• App version: 2.0.1

Additional notes

This makes it impossible to download the model from the startup dialog.

This happens for me when network access permission is disabled. I suspect it could also happen on network errors.

Can confirm. I also am using Lineage 23.2 (without any GApps), so it might have something to do with it?
Is there any alternative in how to download a model?
