Corrects lifecycle, licensing, and FastTrack-scope claims in the Copilot Agents Guide against current first-party Microsoft documentation. - Researcher: Critique and Model Council documented as Frontier-gated research modes; removed the incorrect "Critique (default)" claim and the duplicated 25-query quota from the capabilities list. - Workflows agent: replaced the unsourced "Preview / rolling out in Frontier" lifecycle claim with the documented "Available"; English only. - Copilot Cowork: corrected from Frontier-gated to generally available in tier-1 languages; enumerated all prerequisites and removed "Immediate" availability framing, since usage-based billing and subprocessor approval are required first. - SharePoint agents: removed undocumented metadata-enrichment and Lists claims; documented the 20-source-item cap and Teams group/meeting/channel sharing (1:1 chat not supported). - Copilot Studio: split external A2A (classic, GA) from connected agents (new experience, preview); noted that agents cannot be transferred between the classic and new experiences; computer use is GA and covers browser and Windows desktop UI automation; replaced the model list with a pointer to current documentation; "message credits" -> Copilot Credits. - Declarative agent licensing rewritten to reflect that access and billing depend on the agent's grounding and capabilities. - Agents Toolkit: separated Microsoft 365 Agents Toolkit, Microsoft 365 Agents SDK, and Teams SDK; removed the claim that A2A is provided by the Toolkit. - FastTrack scope: "deployment support" -> "remote guidance" in badges, matrix row, and README; added the published channel limitation for custom engine agents (Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot, SharePoint); removed the change-management claim, which is outside the published benefit. - Removed the "Composability Advantage" block and the paired scenario card, which asserted an undocumented Cowork/Copilot Studio invocation bridge. - Fixed the broken footer anchor to #microsoft-365-copilot-agents. Validation: JSX parse of the embedded Babel block (with a negative control), strict UTF-8 decode, catalog metadata check and stats check, and a rendered smoke test across all agent/tab views with no console errors. All claims are sourced from public first-party Microsoft documentation. Co-authored-by: Copilot App <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com>

Correct Agent 365 and Microsoft 365 E7 licensing, align the guide with the published FastTrack scope for Copilot agents and Agent 365, and pick up the July 2026 Agent Builder release notes. - Agent 365: record the prerequisite licences required for new purchases from June 1, 2026, and state Commercial GA on a per-user basis - Microsoft 365 E7: replace the inaccurate "E5 security (Defender, Intune, Purview)" description with the documented composition, E5 plus Microsoft 365 Copilot plus Microsoft Entra Suite plus Agent 365 in a single SKU - Replace both Agent 365 marketing links with the Learn overview and add the FastTrack remote-guidance scope page for Agent 365 in the sidebar and footer - Rewrite the FastTrack scope summary: adoption guidance and prebuilt-agent overview are in scope, only strategy and plan creation are out - Add a People Skills licensing card covering service-plan differences and the published in-scope / out-of-scope boundary - Agent Builder: SharePoint list grounding (one list, up to 20,000 items) and governed Agent Store submission; note attachments and lookup columns are not yet supported - Relabel FastTrack badges to "FastTrack scope" so they no longer imply blanket support for an entire agent type - README: v3.2.0, verified August 2026, official Learn links, Agent Builder rename All claims are sourced from public learn.microsoft.com pages. No internal or NDA material is included. Co-authored-by: Copilot App <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com>
Corrections and additions verified against public Microsoft documentation: - FastTrack out-of-scope: add data governance assessment and restore 'scenarios' to the custom reports item, matching the linked service description. - SharePoint agents: cross-site knowledge sources are available with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license or SharePoint agents pay-as-you-go, not Copilot license only. - Agent Builder: agents created in Microsoft 365 Copilot cannot be used in Teams Chat. - Agent Builder: Purview Information Barriers are not supported on embedded files. - Declarative agents: add PowerPoint to supported Microsoft 365 apps. - Copilot Studio custom engine: harness-based billing and standard harness knowledge limits (500 knowledge sources, 25 SharePoint site URLs with generative orchestration). Bump guide to v3.3.0. Co-authored-by: Copilot App <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com>
…ss vocabulary Corrects a mis-attribution currently live on the published guide (v3.1.0): the declarative agent card listed external agent connections over A2A and connected agents as declarative capabilities. Microsoft documents both as Copilot Studio harness capabilities, not capabilities of declarative agents that extend Microsoft 365 Copilot. Moves them to the custom engine card. Also migrates selection-level text from the retired classic/new agent experience vocabulary to the harness vocabulary Microsoft now uses, and adds the missing management controls item to the FastTrack in-scope list. Sources: learn.microsoft.com Copilot Studio harness and publishing docs, and the public FastTrack for Microsoft 365 Copilot service description. …y and tool scope Corrects the FastTrack service description deep-link anchor from #microsoft-365-copilot-agents to #microsoft-copilot-agents in the guidance tab, the footer, and the README link list. The old fragment does not exist on the live page, so the deep link silently failed to scroll. Adds a Copilot Studio agent identity callout covering automatic Microsoft Entra Agent ID creation, removal of environment-level opt-out from July 2026, app registration migration for pre-rollout agents, and Conditional Access targeting of connector API permissions. Splits Model Context Protocol and workflow tool support by harness on the custom engine card, and rescopes the computer use capability to its documented standard harness, generative orchestration prerequisite, and mixed generally available/experimental model status. …, and Researcher capabilities Weekly audit of the Copilot Agents Guide against current first-party Microsoft documentation. - Cowork: replace the unqualified "worldwide" availability claim with tier-1 languages within Anthropic-supported regions, per the Cowork FAQ. - Cowork: Anthropic model enablement is an optional, separate admin choice, not a prerequisite for Cowork itself. - Cowork: local browser use in Microsoft Edge has moved from Frontier to general availability; state GA together with its admin enablement requirement so the tenant control is not overlooked. - Cowork: name Copilot Credits instead of vague "metered usage", and add a source link to the card. - Copilot Studio: environment-level opt-out for automatic agent identity creation was removed in May 2026, not July 2026. - Cost guidance: licensed Microsoft 365 Copilot users incur no extra charges for connectors, agents, or plugins; the metered case is unlicensed users accessing shared tenant data. Add Work IQ consumption. - Researcher: describe model and mode selection from its documented behavior and drop capability claims with no current documentation. - README: refresh version, date, and official source links. Validation: catalog metadata check passes for 30 resources; rendered guide loads with zero console errors across 21 interactive views; all cited URLs return HTTP 200. Executive summary
Weekly audit of the Microsoft Copilot Agents Guide against current first-party Microsoft documentation. This week's pass found material factual errors in the published guide and corrects them.
The most significant: the guide told readers that Cowork local browser use in Microsoft Edge "remains a Frontier capability." It moved to general availability. A FastTrack engineer reading the guide would have told a customer a GA feature was gated behind a limited program.
Four other corrections, each verified against the capability's own documentation page:
Researcher is additionally rewritten to describe only what its current documentation supports.

tools/catalog-build→node index.js --check→ "Catalog metadata is valid for 30 resources." (matches baseline)The guide is a single-file React app with no build step, so a bad string edit fails silently at runtime. Assertions were therefore run against rendered output, not the file.
Two-model review
Two independent high-effort reviewers ran in parallel, then cross-reviewed each other's findings.
Both reviewers agreed on the Edge/Frontier error, the Entra date error, and the cost-guidance error. Eight items were contested. Each was settled by re-reading the primary source rather than by preferring a reviewer.
Resolved disagreements
Cowork regional scope — Sol's position adopted. Opus argued the guide's "worldwide" was defensible and that regional limits applied only to Anthropic models. The FAQ forecloses this: "Cowork isn't an exception." Opus had itself proposed the deciding test — that a current-state availability statement should settle it — and the FAQ is exactly that. The competing "worldwide" wording appears only in a June 2026 changelog row, which is weaker authority for present-day scope.
Cost wording — Opus's position adopted, with a correction to Opus's own proposal. Opus was right that "tenant-data grounding" is misleading. But Opus's replacement, "usage-based billing for custom and third-party agents," would have introduced a new error: licensed users are explicitly charged nothing extra for agents. Sol caught this. The committed wording follows the source and neither reviewer's draft.
Edge local browser — both reviewers revised. Adopted Opus's editorial point that GA and the admin-enablement requirement must appear in the same sentence, otherwise a reader concludes the feature is live when the tenant control is still off.
Card length — Opus conceded the constraint was measured wrong (the real ceiling is ~530 visible characters, not 450). Sol conceded its own draft ran long and dropped a specific Edge build number, which would go stale within weeks. The card links to the source instead.
Researcher capabilities — resolved by an evidence check neither reviewer had run. Opus raised the right structural question: if Cowork moved Frontier → GA, did the Researcher capabilities move too? Removing them would then be wrong; they should be relabelled. I checked. There is no current documentation page supporting either a Frontier gate or GA for them, and one of the two names has no presence in Microsoft documentation at all. The only reference is a May 2026 announcement page that also described Cowork as Frontier — demonstrably stale. Removed rather than relabelled, and the guide now describes Researcher only from its current FAQ.
Blog-sourced citation removed. Opus found that the README cited a blog post as the provenance for the Researcher claims being corrected. Fixing the claims while leaving the citation would have invited the same error to return. Removed.
Method finding
The audit method reads feature pages and product-wide release notes, but had no step for per-feature-area "what's new" pages — which is precisely where lifecycle transitions get announced. The Edge/Frontier error survived four prior weekly audits for this reason. Going forward, every lifecycle label in the guide should be checked against that capability's own what's-new page.
