<!-- # Duo Transition -->

Starting October 12, create all new POVs, demos, and workshops after signing in with Cisco. Continue using your existing Okta sign-in only to access work you created before the switchover, while that option remains available.

| Date | What changes | What you should do |
| -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **October 12** | Cisco sign-in becomes available alongside the existing Okta option. | Use **Sign in with Cisco** for every new POV, demo, and workshop. Use **Sign in with Splunk (Okta)** to access existing work created under that identity. |
| **November 2** | The Okta sign-in option is removed from Show. | Before this date, review any POVs, demos, or workshops that you still need under your Okta identity. Follow the Show team's guidance for active work before the deadline. |

**Which Sign In Should I Use?**

- For anything new on or after October 12: Select Sign in with Cisco (Duo).
- For a POV, demo, or workshop created before October 12: Select Sign in with Splunk (Okta) and use your existing Okta account.
- For your Show settings: Recreate them after signing in with Cisco.

See the [signing in instructions](https://splunk.github.io/splunk-show-docs/signing-in/) for more information.

If you have active work under Okta, do not assume that it will move to your Cisco identity. The Show team will provide specific instructions for active work before Okta sign-in is removed on November 2. Contact the Show team if you cannot find a resource or need help with the transition.
