Researcher, nerd, music lover, dad
Note: I am in the process of moving my personal projects to Codeberg, hence many things on this profile might not be up to date.
In professional life, I am a researcher in the Software Testing Research team at JetBrains Research. My research interests range from automated test generation to software quality and software testing. Before joining JetBrains Research, I was a research assistant and PhD student at the Chair of Software Engineering II at the University of Passau, Germany, where I worked on automated test generation for Python and (together with many others) brought the Pynguin test-generation framework for Python to life.
I also voluntarily serve as the Treasurer of DANTE e.V., the German-speaking TeX users group.
I used to play the drums and piano, which I should definitely intensify again. My taste of music spans from classical music, to jazz, and metal. Most likely, if you would tell me about an arbitrary song that's popular on today's mainstream radio, I have never heard it—and I am usually not regretting.
