Overview

S7cli

The s7cli is a command-line tool allowing to automate operations on SIMATIC Siemens Step7 PLC projects. It was created to allow automate operations like project creation, source code and library importation, project build (compilations) and testing automation.

The initial version was created in 2013 for the specific purpose of improving/optimizing work with large scale control system projects, then, after proven useful, the utility was improved and used in many other cases. Details of these experiences are described in related publications:
