Software developer, lifelong learner and proud cat mum. When I'm not coding, you'll usually find me training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or training my cats. They haven't learned to code yet, but they do know plenty of tricks and even use speaking buttons to communicate. 🐱💬

I'm especially interested in using technology to help people in practical ways. I'd love to support elderly people in becoming more confident online, staying connected with family and friends, and navigating the digital world more independently.

I work across Linux-based systems, legacy applications, and modern web stacks, from optimising C/SQL code in enterprise databases to building features with Python, JavaScript, and React.
My day-to-day often includes automating processes with Bash/Shell scripts, tuning databases for performance, and developing new tools that make systems more reliable and easier to maintain.

I’m always learning, picking up new technologies, frameworks, and approaches to fit each project’s needs. Whether it’s diving into a legacy codebase or experimenting with the latest tools, I believe in never standing still. There’s always a better, cleaner, or smarter way to solve a problem, and I’m always on the lookout for it.
