The host sends an admitted storage_callback peer, but the module rejected that configuration. TinyEventQueues now accepts attested unique callback peers, keeps invocation addresses mutually exclusive, and refuses invalid, unavailable, or unattested explicit routes without falling back to global storage. The bus publishes storage collection/index declarations without pulling in a storage implementation.
This roll-up also merges canonical main through v0.2.3, retaining per-source coalescing and manifest validation. Storage dependencies use canonical TinyHumans sources at a full commit SHA; TinyBus uses compatible version requirements with the vendored gitlink and lockfile retained. OpenHuman's host adapter is in tinyhumansai/openhuman#8512.
Validation: 226 all-feature nextest tests pass with zero skips. The unchanged per-file 90% coverage gate passes for every source file; callback storage is 96.77%. Real native callback and invocation tests passed in the preceding 226-test default suite; the final head also passes hosted Rust CI (including default native tests), MSRV, docs, and supply-chain checks. Strict all-target/all-feature clippy, native builds/verifier, and the library engine dependency audit pass.
The module tests now configure storage through an explicit invocation
address instead of host callbacks, matching the new serving API, and the
loaded-module test admits only the first peer that connects. The
storage-bound test file was dropped since its coverage moved into the
remaining tests.

Move the storage dependency pin to the v2 revision and update the docs to
describe the invocation-scoped `StorageAddress` the host now issues in place
of the old `storage_callback` destination. The module connects through the
host-owned port and no longer selects or constructs a storage engine, so the
prose in AGENTS.md, MODULE.md, and README.md was rewritten to match.

Walkthrough
The change migrates the pipeline to v2 storage contracts and host-provided module storage. It adds queue-manifest validation, typed document operations, and CI checks for storage dependencies. The release workflow now verifies the archive digest from the published checksum manifest.
The crate adopts v2 storage dependencies, adds crate-local storage ports and composite-key encoding, and adds a typed document repository. The bus storage feature exposes collection declarations through collection_specs().
Queue manifests and collection declarations crates/tinyeventqueues/src/config/*, crates/tinyeventqueues/src/error/mod.rs
The crate adds validated queue declarations and applies them to the queue store. Queue resolution requires a positive visibility_ms.
Pipeline adoption of storage ports crates/tinyeventqueues/src/{cadence,coalesce,dead,digest,gate,ingress,pipeline,salience,turn}/*, crates/tinyeventqueues/src/{clock,lib,test_support}.rs, crates/tinyeventqueues/examples/basic.rs, crates/tinyeventqueues/tests/public_api.rs, README.md
Pipeline components and test fixtures use crate-local storage ports and v2 testkit storage. Repository-backed constructors now return values directly.
Module settings accept an invocation-scoped storage_address or a storage callback. Setup opens the selected host route and fails when storage is unavailable. Tests cover scoped access and rejected connections.

Full summary
Pull request purpose (title): chore: roll up security migration. The PR rolls up the security migration so host and module agree on callback storage configuration: OpenHuman sends an admitted `storage_callback` peer while TinyEventQueues had rejected that field, so the module now accepts a unique callback peer, keeps invocation addresses mutually exclusive, and refuses invalid, unavailable, or unattested callback peers without falling back to global storage. It also retains the bus-owned storage declaration roll-up and merges canonical main through the v0.2.3 release. Tiny Sweeper completed its review; deterministic results follow.

Completeness: Incomplete Test assessment: Test coverage is assessed from changed tests and lane evidence; execution is not claimed without trusted check data.
What changed
Module setup now resolves host storage through mutually exclusive routes: a unique host-bound `storage_callback` peer opened via `connect_storage_at`, or a host-issued invocation `storage_address` (host plus invocation `object_root`) opened via `connect_storage_at_address`; with neither field the module uses the host's ordinary caller-scoped endpoint and fails setup when storage is missing or unusable, with no in-memory fallback, while the shared-global-service name is no longer accepted as a callback and an explicit route never falls back to another. `collection_specs()` in `tinyeventqueues-bus` now returns bus-owned `CollectionDeclaration`/`IndexDeclaration` data and the main crate maps it to the storage port's `CollectionSpec` locally, and the bus crate's `storage` feature no longer pulls the storage types crate. Storage-contract and dev-only testkit/queue dependencies move to the `senamakel` fork revision `c447da3` at declared version 2.1.2, `deny.toml` allows only the `tinyhumansai/tinystoragedrivers` git source, and `tinybus`/`tinybus-module` move to `0.3.12` with added `[patch]` entries to the vendored tree. The release verifier now downloads the published `checksum.toml` and selects the archive digest from the `[sha256]` table with `tomllib`, exiting nonzero when the digest is missing or malformed, and CI runs a new regression script for that selector. The legacy oversized-key golden test is deleted, and the documentation files are updated to the new `storage_address`/`storage_callback` wording. Note on review state: the latest-push delta is unavailable (`available: false`), so no base-to-head push delta could be shown; the above describes the whole-pull-request behavior.
Features
Modified — Mutually exclusive host storage routes in setup: Setup accepts a unique `storage_callback` peer or a host-issued `storage_address`, rejects a configuration that combines both, refuses non-unique callback peers, and fails when host storage is missing or unusable instead of acknowledging work against memory; the shared storage service name is no longer treated as a callback. (crates/tinyeventqueues/src/tinybus_module/settings.rspub(crate) struct Settings {, crates/tinyeventqueues/src/tinybus_module/settings.rsimpl Settings {, crates/tinyeventqueues/src/tinybus_module/storage.rsimpl Backing {, crates/tinyeventqueues/src/tinybus_module/mod.rsfn setup_factory() -> impl Fn(Connection, serde_json::Value) -> SetupFuture + Cl)
Modified — Bus-owned collection declarations with crate-local mapping: `collection_specs()` returns `CollectionDeclaration`/`IndexDeclaration` values serialized with name/indexes/fields/unique shape, and the main crate maps them to the storage port's `CollectionSpec` before ensuring collections; hosts must add that adapter while preserving indexes. (crates/tinyeventqueues-bus/src/storage/mod.rspub const SHIPPED_QUEUES_JSON: &str = include_str!("../../../../queues.json");, crates/tinyeventqueues/src/store/mod.rsuse std::sync::Arc;, crates/tinyeventqueues-bus/src/storage/mod_tests.rsfn collection_specs_are_pure_owner_declarations() {)
Modified — Storage contract and tinybus dependency pins: The `api`/`types`/`busproxy` contracts and the dev-only testkit/queue move to the `senamakel` fork revision `c447da3` at declared version 2.1.2, `deny.toml` permits only that git source, and `tinybus`/`tinybus-module` move to `0.3.12` with additional `[patch]` mappings to the vendored tree. (Cargo.tomlserde = { version = "1", features = ["derive"] }, Cargo.tomltinybus-macros = { path = "vendor/tinybus/crates/tinybus-macros" }, deny.tomldeny = [])
Removed — Legacy composite-key golden test removed: The test asserting oversized keys hash exactly like the legacy `Key::of` encoding is deleted; the remaining ports test still checks that oversized composite keys are bounded and deterministic. (crates/tinyeventqueues/src/ports_tests.rsfn oversized_composite_keys_are_bounded_and_deterministic() {)
Modified — Documentation aligned to the storage routes: Host and operator docs describe the invocation `storage_address` and the mutually exclusive attested `storage_callback` peer, and state that setup fails closed rather than starting an ephemeral engine. (MODULE.mdone on demand. The interface names, object paths, member names and payload, crates/tinyeventqueues/src/tinybus_module/README.mdThe manifest method list must stay aligned with the interface macro's dispatch, docs/specs/event-pipeline.mdare in `tinyeventqueues-bus`.)
Tests
unit — The release-checksum selector extracted from the workflow picks the `[sha256]` archive digest over an embedded `[library_sha256]` entry and exits nonzero with empty stdout when the archive section is missing; the test also asserts the CI step that runs it is present.: The tests lane answered that this is a genuine regression test for the digest-source bug; no execution evidence is provided and none is claimed. (.github/scripts/test_release_checksum.py, .github/workflows/ci.ymljobs:)
unit — Declaration serialization, name uniqueness, and host composition of `CollectionDeclaration` values, including the JSON shape with `name`, `indexes`, `fields`, and `unique`.: The tests lane reports this covers the declaration data; no execution evidence is provided and none is claimed. (crates/tinyeventqueues-bus/src/storage/mod_tests.rsfn collection_specs_are_pure_owner_declarations() {, crates/tinyeventqueues-bus/src/storage/mod_tests.rsuse super::*;)
unit — Settings accept a unique `storage_callback` peer, reject a non-unique or malformed peer and a callback combined with an address, and validate `storage_address` host uniqueness and invocation-scoped object root, reporting invalid object paths and legacy descriptor fields as configuration errors.: The tests lane answered without reportable defect in covered areas; no execution evidence is provided and none is claimed. (crates/tinyeventqueues/src/tinybus_module/settings_tests.rsuse crate::config::{SHIPPED_PIPELINE_JSON, SHIPPED_QUEUES_JSON};, crates/tinyeventqueues/src/tinybus_module/settings_tests.rsfn supplied_documents_replace_the_shipped_ones() {, crates/tinyeventqueues/src/tinybus_module/settings_tests.rsfn an_invalid_document_fails_when_it_is_read() {)
integration — Module setup refuses missing host storage, a loaded native module uses only its invocation storage address while a foreign peer cannot open it, an attested callback cannot be borrowed by an ordinary peer, and storage calls fail after the served endpoint shuts down.: The tests lane reports these branch paths would fail on regression; no execution evidence is provided and none is claimed. (crates/tinyeventqueues/src/tinybus_module/mod_tests.rsasync fn the_linked_module_without_a_storage_callback_fails_closed() {, crates/tinyeventqueues/src/tinybus_module/mod_tests.rsasync fn a_loaded_module_uses_only_its_admitted_host_storage_callback() {, crates/tinyeventqueues/src/tinybus_module/mod_tests.rsasync fn an_absent_host_makes_delivery_back_off() {, crates/tinyeventqueues/src/tinybus_module/storage_tests.rsuse std::sync::atomic::{AtomicUsize, Ordering};)
integration — The module timer delivers without an external drain and its data reaches the host-scoped ports.: The tests lane answered with no reportable defect in this area; no execution evidence is provided and none is claimed. Conclusion: Success
Scope reviewed: all assigned evidence
Positive: The tests lane answered that the new workflow regression test exercises the real selector from the release workflow against both a two-section manifest and a manifest missing the archive section, so a regression in digest selection would fail the CI step.
Lane summary: This revision reworks the module's storage routing (a mutually exclusive `storage_callback` peer vs. an invocation-scoped `storage_address`, with the global caller-scoped endpoint as the default), replaces the bus crate's `tinystoragedrivers-types` dependency with bus-owned declaration types translated to the storage port's types in the module, adds a Python-driven checksum-selection test for the release workflow, and bumps the tinystoragedrivers revision while simplifying dependency specs. I could not verify the prior finding about keeping the storage contract on its own repository, because `tinystoragedrivers-busproxy::StorageAddress`, `serve_at_address`, `connect_storage_at_address` and the routed `is_unique` live in a git dependency that is not checked out at the reviewed commit, so the diff offers no evidence either way; I have left it at its previous severity rather than moving it on guesswork. description
Conclusion: Success
Scope reviewed: all assigned evidence
Positive: The description lane answered that the new commits match the roll-up narrative — the checksum-selection test and CI step match the release workflow change, and the storage declaration and pin changes are called out — while noting one earlier concern about the fork revision's version claim remains open.
Lane summary: The new commits switch the module from a `storage_callback`-only configuration to a host-issued invocation `StorageAddress` (with `storage_callback` retained as a mutually exclusive alternative), tighten callback peer validation to require a unique bus name, and move storage addressing into `settings.rs` with unit tests, plus documentation and dependency-pin updates. I checked the new settings parsing/validation, the storage routes, and the tests, and found no defect I can substantiate: `BusName::is_unique` and `StorageAddress::try_new` live in the vendored/TSD crates I could not read, but nothing in the diff shows them being used incorrectly, and the default no-address route correctly falls back to `connect_storage`, not to an in-memory engine.

Extend the collection spec test to pin the JSON shape of a declaration and use the explicit CollectionDeclaration type, so the serialized contract stays stable for hosts composing their own storage.

Replace the optional tinystoragedrivers-types dependency with local CollectionDeclaration and IndexDeclaration types so the storage feature no longer pulls in the driver types crate. The host now translates these declarations to its own storage API, keeping the module's default dependency closure unchanged.

Modules can now be configured with a storage_callback unique peer that connects directly to a host-bound storage endpoint instead of an invocation-scoped storage address. The two routes are mutually exclusive, and an explicit callback never falls back to global storage.

Extract the trusted artifact staging into a shared helper and add a test
that loads the module with an attested storage callback, verifying it
reaches the served backend. The verify_module example now hosts a memory
storage backend so the module can be exercised end to end.

The host sends an admitted
storage_callbackpeer, but the module rejected that configuration.
