Repository containing dotfiles, managed with dotbot.
Make sure the following are installed:
- git
- alacritty - terminal emulator
- zsh - shell
- tmux - terminal multiplexer
- neovim - editor (>= 0.7)
- mise - runtime version manager (replaces nvm, pyenv, conda)
- sheldon - zsh plugin manager
- starship - prompt
- fzf - fuzzy finder
- fd - find alternative
- bat - cat alternative
- ripgrep - grep alternative
brew install mise sheldon starship fzf fd bat ripgrep- Clone the repository:
git clone git@github.com:trifiasco/dotfiles.git- Run the installer:
cd dotfiles && ./install- Set up runtime versions with mise:
mise use --global python@3.12
mise use --global node@22- Install sheldon plugins:
sheldon lock- Cache uv/uvx completions:
mkdir -p ~/.local/share/zsh/completions
uv generate-shell-completion zsh > ~/.local/share/zsh/completions/_uv
uvx --generate-shell-completion zsh > ~/.local/share/zsh/completions/_uvx- Open a new terminal. Tmux and neovim plugins will be installed on first launch.
