Production dispatches now deploy the selected
mainsnapshot every time, including repeat deployments of the same commit. Remove production release numbering, GitHub publication, changelogs, tags, package-version edits and release artifact uploads. Keep exact-snapshot CI validation, matched build checks, compatible migrations, credential cleanup and Wrangler deployment.Remove the footer version/new indicator, version-history changes modal, startup version fetch, release queries/rendering and bundled release snapshot. Internal build IDs remain for service-worker updates, diagnostics and rollback. Terminal npm publication remains independent.
Validation: 41 deployment/CI/terminal helper tests, 67 targeted frontend tests, five workerd delivery tests and eight auth/offline browser tests pass. Both Start builds, Wrangler dry-run, formatting, type-aware lint/typecheck and knip pass. T3 browser inspection confirms usable typing, only the theme button in the footer, no release snapshot request and a 404 for the retired snapshot. Evidence:
docs/tanstack-start/evidence/deployment-only.json.The change is split into 24 GPG-signed commits. #146 has passed CI and was merged into main with a regular merge commit. All eleven existing GitHub release records have been deleted; the release list is empty. Source tags and retained Cloudflare rollback versions remain available. Production deployment remains manual.
