The live editor hid emphasis, heading, code and quote marks off the cursor line but not the backslash of an escape, so
\*showed as\*instead of*.Escapenode while the cursor is off its line; the source shows again on the cursor line.Tests: new
escape.test.tsfails before the change and passes after. The full web suite has 4 failures (print KaTeX stylesheet, primary action consistency, two block-margin checks) that fail the same way oncorewithout this change.
