Closes #3213 · Agent claim

Why the change

Special things to note

Change outline

 外部 SQL 写入 persona_bots(合法 JSON,非法可选字段)
   Core → createPersonaBotRegistry → list → decode
Bot
   sanctioned write
packages/core/src/bots/registry.ts
packages/core/test/registry-database.test.ts

Walkthrough

The registry now removes malformed optional model plans and invalid revision watermarks when decoding records, and rejects invalid records before writes. Tests cover SQL-edited and imported records, startup, revision-based customization, and preservation of records and Soul files. English and Chinese release notes describe the behavior and its limits.

Full details: Description check

Explanation

The description covers the user problem, linked issue, merge risk, verification results and gaps, scope boundaries, and change outline. It does not explicitly state the CI test-plan mode or any updated scripts/ci-plan.mjs rule, but the rest of the required information is substantially complete.

Full details: Linked Issues check

Explanation

Issue #3213 requires recovery from invalid optional modelPlan and modelPlanRevision fields without dropping Bots or valid settings. registry.ts removes each invalid field independently before full-record validation. It uses isPersonaBotModelPlan and requires a nonnegative safe-integer revision. The tests cover direct SQL damage, Bot identity, healthy records, legacy model values, valid revision watermarks, revision checks, Soul preservation, Core startup, and rejected sanctioned writes. The change does not add record skipping, SQL repair, or migration.

Full details: Out of Scope Changes check

Explanation

The changed registry write validation prevents sanctioned writes of invalid records. The added tests verify this behavior, and the release note documents the #3213 behavior and the remaining external-SQL limitation. These changes support the linked issue and the stated PR intent. No unrelated product behavior, store, migration, or record-skipping logic is added.

Full details: Docstring Coverage

Explanation

Docstring coverage is 0.00% which is insufficient. The required threshold is 80.00%. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff with cyclomatic complexity of at least 2. Documentation-only edits and deletions within surviving functions are included; unchanged diff context and fully deleted functions are excluded. Analyzed 1 functions across 2 files. (1 skipped: 1 unsupported.)

Resolution

Write docstrings for the functions missing them to satisfy the coverage threshold.

Verification for exact head 38ac4b6976ec9982dd9c38f07fd281330c41f271

Base: 6046cda704302eeee59da53847625e1636bfcd5c · generated 2026-10-31.

  • Rebased only the fix(core): one malformed persona_bots row takes down the whole Host (Invalid PersonaBot Registry record) #3213 fix onto current main; the PR contains one commit and three files, not the unrelated older mobile/feedback commits from the original checkout.
  • Reproduction on this base: temporarily removed only the production fix while retaining its regression tests. pnpm exec vitest run packages/core/test/registry-database.test.ts -t 'minimal direct-SQL|starts Core after direct-SQL' produced 15 failures / 1 healthy control passed, all failures with the reported Invalid PersonaBot Registry record.
  • Restored the exact committed production fix. Registry, registry-database, model-preset-database and operational-database suites: 4 files / 115 tests passed. This includes the same 16 targeted reproduction cases. Windows Git-clone fixtures required process-local core.autocrlf=false; a prior run without it failed only the existing CRLF expectation. Repository/global Git configuration was not changed.
  • pnpm exec tsc --noEmit (root TypeScript), pnpm lint, scoped oxfmt --check, pnpm changelog:check, pnpm build and diff checks passed. Mobile workspace typecheck, the full test suite and Human QA are not claimed. Lint/build reported existing warnings.
  • Current-head runtime: seeded a fresh isolated Profile with two malformed optional-model records plus a healthy Bot through an external SQLite connection; built and launched the pinned DSH 0.2.1-rc.3 using the repository verification helper. Doctor confirmed the correct worktree/version and authenticated API; botharness/list returned all three test Bots. Read-only SQL assertions confirmed malformed fields were still stored, so success did not come from manual database repair. The task-owned Host was stopped and its temporary Profile removed.
  • Full unpatched Host launch, Client rendering, model replies, and Inbox/Schedule execution remain unverified. The original failure is proven at the real registry/Core factory seam, not claimed as complete unpatched Desktop reproduction.

Explanation and access limits

The local repository answer-me-with-html CLI generated a five-panel explanation bound to the exact PR/base/head above, with no style warnings. It describes optional-field recovery, independent revision handling, write validation, rollback and verification limits. It does not introduce a new specification or authority.

The HTML remains a local handoff, not a reviewer-accessible published artifact. The installed GitHub CLI attachment path supports images/videos, not HTML; no new public hosting or repository artifact branch was created merely to publish it. Visual browser inspection could not run: Ego returned Failed to connect to ego_cli bootstrap in the already full-access environment. No visual inspection is claimed. The complete review-critical explanation is in this PR body and the verification text above; raw local Host metadata/login URLs are intentionally not uploaded.

CI gate — unrelated mobile dependency freshness check is red

At head 38ac4b6976ec9982dd9c38f07fd281330c41f271, core/static checks, all three affected-test shards, docs build and isolated-Host e2e smoke passed. The aggregate gate is red because mobile verification (iOS and Android) stopped at expo:doctor: it expects seven newer patch versions (including Expo ~58.0.22 vs pinned 58.0.21, @expo/ui ~58.0.26 vs 58.0.25, and react-native-screens ~4.30.1 vs 4.30.0).

The PR changes neither apps/mobile/package.json nor pnpm-lock.yaml against its exact base, so this is not addressed by mixing an unrelated Expo dependency upgrade into #3213. Log: https://github.com/BotHarness/DeepSeekBot/actions/runs/41204435141/job/124547023726 . No check bypass, merge or issue closure was performed. Resolve that baseline dependency gate separately before merge; CodeRabbit was still running at the last observation.

Advance the plan revision during legacy migration instead of resetting it to 1.

When readiness migrates a valid legacy model after a damaged record drops its malformed modelPlan, migrateLegacyModel writes revision: 1. It ignores the preserved modelPlanRevision. The effective revision then falls from the stored watermark, for example 139, to 1. A client that still holds revision 1 can then send a stale expectedRevision: 1 and overwrite the current plan.

Derive the migrated revision from the effective pre-migration revision, as the other plan writes do. Keeping the watermark unchanged would reuse a revision that was already issued for a different plan.

Suggested fix
       record.modelPlan = {
- revision: 1,
+ revision: (record.modelPlanRevision ?? 0) + 1,
