- prose dashes across de, ko, ru and zh rewritten as commas, colons,
parentheses or split into separate sentences
- the English source has no em dashes in these places, so the pattern
came in with the translation and read as machine-produced
- normative dashes kept: term-definition list items, the `from`-`to`
range, and the Russian copula dash ("Слот — это единица времени")
