What changed

• remove the full decorative homepage hero, including the title, monogram, actions, and statistics
• remove the category section heading and explanatory copy
• keep the category cards and recent article list as the homepage entry point
• reduce the top spacing before the category cards

Why

The removed sections are decorative and not needed for the blog's primary reading workflow.

Validation

• Liquid 4 strict template parsing passes
• removed copy no longer appears in index.html
• git diff --check passes
