Purpose

Accept one bounded W6 launch plan for a normalized synthetic asset schema and deterministic compiler slice after completed W5.

Accepted wave

• exactly one implementation worker W6-ASSET after this plan and its separate archive merge;
• oteryn-asset-types, category asset-types;
• oteryn-asset-compiler, category tool, consuming asset-types;
• synthetic binary/RGBA8 inputs only;
• typed IDs, bounded metadata, SHA-256 digests, deterministic pack encoding and strict decoder/validator;
• constrained JSON manifest with relative path, containment and symlink protections;
• one unique future Cargo/lockfile/dependency-policy/shared-document lease.

Dependency candidates

• reuse exact workspace serde_json 1.0.145;
• candidate exact sha2 0.11.0, defaults disabled, for SHA-256 only;
• generated lockfile and cargo-deny remain authoritative and may reject the candidate without policy weakening.

Boundaries

Planning documentation only. Exactly five documentation paths. No Rust source, Cargo, lockfile, dependency policy, CI, asset bytes, renderer, runtime mounting, real importer, updater, protocol, UI, legacy runtime or external-repository change.

No worker task, implementation branch or shared lease exists until this plan and its separate archive merge.

Synthetic success will not prove production compatibility, redistribution rights, real Canary input support, signing, runtime/GPU integration or performance.
