🎮 Chat Commands Index

Welcome to the complete command reference for the RICS mod! This index organizes all available chat commands by category for easy navigation.

🆕 What's New (RICS 1.50)

  • 🚫 RICS-only moderation — !rban / !runban / !rto silence a viewer inside RICS only (not Twitch/Kick/YouTube). Default timeout is 5 minutes, wall clock.
  • 👤 Bare !pawn — if only one race is enabled (typical Human colony), !pawn buys that race. Several races: lists the first 8 with prices (same as !races).
  • 💰 Economy defaults — starting coins can go up to 100,000. Karma decay defaults to 0 (off unless you turn it on).
  • 🩺 Still available: !pawncheck (RICS 1.46).

👑 Moderator Commands

(Moderator/Admin permissions required)

  • 🪙 !givecoins - Give coins to a viewer
  • ⚖️ !setkarma - Set karma for a viewer
  • 🔄 !togglestore - Toggle store-related commands on/off (!togglestore, on, off)
  • 🔧 !fixallpawns - Fix all pawns
  • 🧹 !cleanlootboxes - Cleans up Lootboxes. Usage: !cleanlootboxes [dry|dryrun, all, orphans] (dry/dryrun returns count only; orphans fixes lootboxes with no viewer)
  • 🧼 !cleanviewers - Clean viewer database. Usage: !cleanviewers [dry|noplat|all] (noplat clears users with no platform ID; safe operation)
  • 🚫 !rban - Permanent RICS-only ban (commands ignored; not a Twitch/Kick/YouTube ban). Aliases: !ricsban
  • ✅ !runban - Clear a RICS ban and timeout. Aliases: !ricsunban
  • ⏳ !rto - RICS-only timeout (wall clock, default 5 minutes). Usage: !rto user [duration] e.g. !rto bob 10 or !rto bob 10m. Aliases: !ricstimout, !rtimeout

💰 Economy Commands

  • 💳 !bal - Check your coin balance
  • ❓ !whatiskarma - Explain what karma is
  • 🎁 !openlootbox - Open your daily loot box!
  • 🎁 !giftcoins - Gift coins from one viewer to another (currently disabled)

🧬 Trait Commands

  • 🔍 !trait - Look up trait information
  • ➕ !addtrait - Add a trait to your pawn
  • ➖ !removetrait - Remove a trait from your pawn
  • 🔄 !replacetrait - Replace one trait with another
  • 🛠️ !settraits - Add and replace traits in bulk. Usage: !settraits [trait_name1] [trait_name2]...
  • 📜 !traits - List all available traits for purchase

🛒 Purchase Commands

  • 💲 !pricecheck - Get the exact price of an item
  • 🛍️ !buy - Purchase items or pawns from the store
  • 👤 !pawn - Purchase a pawn (!pawn buys if only one race is enabled, otherwise lists races)
  • 🧬 !races - List all available races <- RICS 1.37
  • 🧪 !xenotype - List all available xenotypes for a race (!xenotype <race>) <- RICS 1.37
  • ⚡ !use - Use an item immediately
  • 🛡️ !equip - Equip an item to your pawn
  • 👕 !wear - Wear apparel on your pawn
  • 🎒 !backpack - Add item to your pawn's inventory
  • 🏥 !surgery - Purchase implants and queue surgery

🌪️ Event Commands

  • 🎭 !event - Trigger game events
  • ☀️ !weather - Change weather conditions
  • 🎖️ !militaryaid - Call for military reinforcements
  • ⚔️ !raid - Call a hostile raid on the colony
  • 📚 !raidinfo - Show information about available raid types
  • 🚀 !joinraid - Join an active Twitch raid (if one is running)

👥 Pawn Management

  • 👤 !mypawn - Show information about your pawn (many subcommands)
    • !mypawn mechs - List mechanoids you control as a mechanitor (Biotech)
    • !mypawn psycasts / !mypawn psycast <class> - Psycast info and VPE classes
    • !mypawn genes - List genes / xenotype (genes, xeno, xenotype)
    • !mypawn family / friends / rivals - Relationship lists (also kin, kith, enemies)
  • 🩺 !pawncheck - Injury-only report for another viewer's pawn. Usage: !pawncheck <viewer> (RICS 1.46)
  • 🚪 !leave - Release your assigned pawn
  • 🚁 !rescueme - Recover a vanished pawn (subscriber). Captured/kidnapped → world rescue site; left-behind → drop pod home. Dead pawns use !revivepawn
  • 💖 !revivepawn - Revives a pawn (selected, all, or viewers)
  • 🩹 !healpawn - Heals pawn injuries (!healpawn, !healpawn all, !healpawn <viewer>, !healpawn all @user)
  • 🎨 !dye - Dyes your clothing
  • 🎨 !setfavoritecolor - Sets your pawn's favorite color
  • ❤️ !passion - Place a wager to have chance to increase a passion
  • 🎒 !shufflechildhood - Randomly replace your pawn’s childhood backstory** for coins 🎲🧠
  • 🎒 !shuffleadulthood - Randomly replace your pawn’s childhood backstory** for coins 🎲🧠

📊 Queue Commands

  • ➕ !joinqueue - Join the pawn queue
  • 🚫 !leavequeue - Leave the pawn queue
  • 📊 !queuestatus - Check your position in the pawn queue
  • ✅ !acceptpawn - Accept a pawn offer

💬 Social Commands

  • 💬 !chitchat - Casual conversation (Cost: 10 coins)
  • 🗣️ !deeptalk - Meaningful discussions (Cost: 15 coins)
  • 😠 !insult - Insult other colonists (Cost: 5 coins, requires 5 karma)
  • 😘 !flirt - Romantic interactions (Cost: 20 coins)
  • 🤗 !reassure - Comfort colonists (Requires Ideology DLC, Cost: 12 coins)
  • 🐾 !nuzzle - Affectionate interactions (Cost: 8 coins)
  • 🐶 !animalchat - Talk with animals (Cost: 10 coins)
  • 💒 !marry - Marriage proposals (Cost: 50 coins, requires 10 karma)
  • 🤝 !buildrapport - Build relationships (Cost: 25 coins)
  • ✝️ !convert - Ideology conversion (Requires Ideology DLC, Cost: 30 coins, requires 15 karma)

🧪 Test Commands

  • 👋 !hello - Simple test command
  • 🦙 !CaptoLamia - CaptoLamia's test command
  • (AI ChatBot command ricsaichatbot exists internally but is disabled by default and not intended for normal use)

🔧 Command Syntax

Most commands follow these patterns:

  • !command [target] [options]
  • !command [subcommand] [parameters]
  • !command [item_name] [quantity] [quality]

Examples:

  • !buy assault_rifle excellent 1

⚙️ Configuration Notes

  • Cooldowns - Most commands have 5-second cooldowns (some exceptions)
  • Permissions - Moderator commands require mod/admin status
  • DLC Requirements - Certain commands need Royalty/Ideology/Biotech DLCs
  • Costs - Social interactions and events cost coins and/or karma
  • Queue System - Use !joinqueue and !queuestatus for pawn assignment
  • Pawn Customization - Traits, colors, and passions can be customized
