The site and the launch campaign cite Microsoft's migration page for the September 14, 2026 retirement of the standalone Whiteboard app. Microsoft has edited that page twice in a week and moved the date out of its headline schedule table, so docs/retirement now holds the original schedule bitmap, the Wayback link where the date is clearly visible, and the rules for citing the claim without overreaching. Whiteboard survives in Teams and on the web; only the standalone app retires on September 14, 2026. The image alt text, compare.html, and the hero artwork all already say "Whiteboard app" — the home-page caption was the one public claim missing the scoping, and it sits on the page every campaign link points to.
