Cleanup categories group files of the same kind. The app scans 55+ categories in parallel; scan results are grouped by category and shown with a risk badge.

Base Cleanup (always available)

  • System caches

  • Trash (if enabled in settings)

Review-Only Categories

Review-only categories (Old Backups, AI Models & LLM Data, Installer Packages, Large files, Project Build Artifacts) are shown in the preview but never wiped as a whole — only items you explicitly select are moved to Trash. iOS Backups, Docker, and iOS Simulators are deselected by default.

Risk Levels

Badge Meaning
Safe Temporary data, safe to remove
Moderate May affect app startup speed
Dangerous May reset app preferences or require re-login
Protected System-protected path, cannot be deleted

Path Purposes

Every registered path is classified into a purpose that determines how the app may treat it:

Purpose Meaning
cache Regenerable, cleaned by default
app_data Uninstall-only, never touched by cleanup
shared Shared with other apps, never automatic
user_content Personal content, opt-in only

The registry database (2,343 paths, 304 apps, 92 toolchains) is described in Architecture.
