Getting Started
The app uses a floating glass pill bar with 8 sections: Dashboard, Cleanup, Disk Space, Duplicates, Uninstaller, Processes, Startup Services, and Settings. Switch sections with the bar or ⌘1–⌘8.
Shows disk usage, system info, cleanup statistics, and recent operations. Press ⌘Y to open the full cleanup history. This is the default landing page.
- Go to Cleanup in the navigation bar
- Base cleanup (system cache, app logs, browser cache) is ready to run
- Toggle additional options you want (
.DS_Store, Maven, Go cache,.dart_toolprojects, iCloud Documents, Voice Memos, GarageBand/Logic, iMovie/Final Cut, Sleep Image, Font Cache) - Click Start Scan for an extended scan of all categories
- Review results — each category shows a risk badge (Safe, Moderate, Dangerous, Protected)
- Select items to remove (risky and personal-content groups start unselected)
- Click Clean Now
- Go to Duplicates
- Choose a folder (Home, Downloads, Documents, or custom)
- Click Start Scan
- Review duplicate groups side-by-side in the split view; press Space for Quick Look
- Adjust selection with smart strategies (Keep Oldest by default), then move selected copies to Trash
- Go to Uninstaller
- Select an app from the list or drag an
.appbundle onto the drop zone - Wait for the deep scan to finish
- Review related files grouped by confidence tier
- Click Uninstall
- If leftover files remain, the post-uninstall leftovers sheet appears
Siri, Shortcuts, and Automator commands are enabled by default, including Empty Trash. See Siri & Automation for available commands and settings.
The process list updates on launch. Use the toolbar to switch between Flat and Grouped view, sort by CPU/memory/name/threads, or manage whitelist/blacklist. Critical system processes cannot be terminated.
Scan detects LaunchAgents and LaunchDaemons. Use the toggle to load or unload any service, Show in Finder to reveal the plist, or delete a third-party service (confirmation required). Services are categorized as User, Third-party, or System.
