Logging
KLog can keep several independent logs (logbooks) in the same database — for example, one per callsign you operate, one per contest, or one per year.
The active log determines which QSOs appear in the bottom log table and which station callsign/operators are used by default for new QSOs. Logs are created, edited and removed from Settings → Logs, where each log has:
- Station Callsign used for that log.
- Date — the log's start date.
- Operators — comma separated list of operators.
- Comments.
- A read-only QSOs count.
Removing a log deletes every QSO it contains — KLog asks for confirmation first, so make sure you have exported anything you want to keep (see ADIF Import / Export).
The bottom block of the main window shows the QSOs of the current log (or, when searching, of all logs — see Search). You can choose which ADIF fields are shown as columns from the Log View page in Settings → Logs.
Click on a QSO row to load it back into the Input Block for viewing or editing.
Use File → Print Log ... to print the current log, or File → Export to ADIF ... / Export all logs to ADIF ... to save it. See Main Menu and ADIF Import / Export.
